Anjaneya Swami Seva Trust

Established in 2025, Anjaneya Swami Seva Trust (Hanuman Mandir) stands as a beacon of devotion in Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar. Founded with the vision of preserving Sanatana Dharma and serving humanity through Lord Hanuman's teachings, the temple has grown into a vibrant spiritual and community centre over the past 365+ days.

Dedicated to Anjaneya Swami โ€” another sacred name of Lord Hanuman, son of Anjana โ€” this trust was born from the collective faith and will of devoted souls who yearned for a spiritual home in the heart of Bhubaneswar. Over the decades, the temple has expanded from a small shrine into a fully-fledged spiritual institution with daily pujas, community welfare programmes, and the celebrated Mahaprasad service.

Today, hundreds of devotees from across Odisha and beyond visit the temple every day to seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman. The trust continues its sacred mission โ€” serving the divine through Seva, and serving humanity through compassion.

Lord Hanuman โ€” also known as Anjaneya Swami, Bajrang Bali, Mahaveer, and Pawanputra โ€” is the eternal devotee of Lord Rama and one of the most revered deities in the Hindu tradition. He symbolises boundless strength, unwavering faith, pure devotion (Bhakti), and fearless service (Seva).

Born to Anjana and blessed by Vayu (the Wind God), Hanuman is celebrated across the Ramayana and Puranas for his extraordinary feats โ€” carrying the Sanjeevani mountain, leaping across the ocean to Lanka, and burning the demon king's city. Yet above all these great deeds, his humility and surrender to Lord Rama remain his highest virtues.

At Anjaneya Swami Seva Trust, we draw inspiration from Lord Hanuman's life โ€” his service without ego, his strength with compassion, and his devotion without condition. In Odisha culture, Mahaveer is also worshipped as the sentinel protector of Lord Jagannath, guarding the holy gates of Nilachala.
